Ok so either we are fine and think we need no help or we are hurting ourselves and maybe don't think we should say anything. No one has been talking but I have to say I need you guys. I am in other support groups but they don't understand self injury. Everyone who sees a bulimic or anorexic thinks they just want to be skinny, usually its about control. People think that those who burn, cut, scratch and pull hair, etc. are crazy and just want to die. Is that why we do it. I think not. I think we want some one to care and help. Well thats why we are here, to help each other cause we understand. So I have an appointment to get more help with my Bipolar and with that would get help with my selfinjury and bulimia. I have scratched the back of my head raw and have continued to binge and purge. I keep telling myself I will just do it until I get help, but lately I have told myself that I will just leave the bulimia off my appointment. The things is that I feel bad so I eat, then I fell bad cause I eat, I scratch trying to not purge, then I usually purge, then I feel bad for that. How do I get rid of this mountain of guilt I feel ALL the TIME!!!!!!!! I take in enough calories that I am not in immediate danger but I go through spells of stress when I get a little out of hand I guess. I feel like everytime I get a grip on it life throws me a pile of sh*t. My newset is that i think my mom is on drugs now. My sister and I are going to check her house today for alcohol or whatever we may find. How can I help her when I can't help me, we just feel like she is crying out and close to a bottom.
