I have tried to quit cutting sooooo many times, just to have a relapse the next day! I'm only 14 and I've been cutting for a year, and have tried to kill myself twice... I need help! I'm seeing a therapist, but I cannot quit! I have scars ALL over! My entire left arm , my right forarm, my whole torso, my left hip, both thighs, my left calf, both ankles, and the back of neck are all covered in scars! Someone help me! I need somebody to beleive in me, because right now I have no faith in anyone, not even myself... I wish I had a way to just die, I don't care if I go to hell, I just don't want to be anyone elses problem!

Hun I believe in you. Don't put yourself under so much pressure. You shouldn't kick yourself if you relapse the next day... or even the next month. Its a difficult process. I cut on and off since I was 12 and I'm 18 now... I haven't cut since september but it's taken me that long. This is the longest I've been since I began. I used to try and then cut even a couple of hours later.

PM me if you want to talk to someone. But I do believe in you. I care for you already.

Honey, you sound like there might be something causing this. Is there anything at home that it causing you stress? Could you talk about this with your therapist? Is there a way to contact them in between visits? You may need some additional help if you are feeling like you want to die. That is not normal. As far as the injuring is concerned, take it minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. Distract yourself, read, write, listen to music. Come on here, read the posts. But try to cope a little better. Maybe finding out what's causing this will help you to stop.
