hi there and welcome to the group. my name is storm and i am one of the group leaders here. the other is pixi and she is amazing so please feel free to talk to us anytime and we will get back to you when we open our emails.

firstly here we try to figure out what our triggers are.. the reason why we felt the urge to cut at a particular time. then we can try put in place a plan of action for next time.

we also promote exercise it releases the same endorphins you get when you self harm. also there is wearing a rubber band on your wrist and flicking it when you have the urge.. or plunging your hands into a sink or bucket of icy waterand this also gives us a feeling of the same velocity.

here you will not be judged or talked to as if you are weird or weak or anything like that we have or still do all harm.

we also all have our own triggers and we ask each other for advice as well so its a great place to vent and be open and honest..

there is also a place here for a diary entry it helps to see our progress and well help us in the long run to find our triggers.

please feel free to post as you have done and we will get back to you.

if yu wish to know a bit more about someone here also go and click on their image next to their diary entry of remark and their profile will come up.

feel free to message me or post anytime okay and well pixi will be a great help too. the group here is very open and honest and friendly nd we all range in ages so their is sure to be someone you can click with and feel a bit more comfortable talking to .

look forward to talking to you again soon and welcome again.

BIG HUGS

Storm

Wow I think Storm about covered it. I am here if you need anything! Good luck and remember it helps to come here when you get those urges!

I have no medical training and give advice purely on personal experience. This in no way replaces proper medical attention.
