MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

From what i remember they put in a rod which they had to add an extention as it wasnt long enough for what i needed. but they also removed 3 of my ribs which my spine had pushed out of place, which had also pushed my shoulder out of place. they then strainghtened my spine and bolted the rod in place. They then used the removed ribs (if ribs werent removed they normally use bone from your hip) to place along my spine which over time fused my spine together. That was my original operation. Ive had 8 in total on my back though, but they were for things they couldnt have known would happen really. If you want to know just ask, I dont mind sharing Smile
