Hello to every one....I am new to the group and would like to ask a question, please. If any one can help me out I would be very happy. I was diagnosed with Scoliosis when I was 18 years old. My doctor told me that it may have been there forever. Little bit confused about this...Two years ago I had a visit with an new Osteopath, just for a treatment session. I was told my Scoliosis was "active", I was not explained the difference between active and not active. But the doctor told me if I did not start to take this very seriously I would end up in a wheel chair by age 40. Was not feeling so worried, sounded unbelievable to me and just returned to my usual Osteopath. I am suffering a lot now and hope that there is some on that ca help me understand what this all meant. Am I, or was I ignorant not to have taken his advice, or was this doctor really serious?? Also have Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Osteoporosis and many other musculoskeletal problems. Any answers, opinions would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks very much......Bijou
