Hi Jeannie, My name is Sandy. I'm not sure what a PLIF is, but I'd have it done if I were you! You are in too much pain, not to. I don't get sciatica very often anymore since I don't work. But I remember what it was like. I stopped in my tracks, becoming unable to move. It was both embarrassing and painful. Especiall since others didn't understand.
