HI CW. Have you been in that much pain since the surgery or did it get better? I had similar surgery in 2002. Didn't help me much either. After 3 years, I was back doing most of what I liked with only moderate back pain and no sciatica. I reinjured my back in May and now the sciatica is back. I'm finally going to get cortizone shots on Wed. Not happy with my Doc for taking so long. Don't know if stenosis will come back with time. What other therapies have you tried? Probably everything. If the cortizone shots don't help I may try the lysis of adhesiions, and anything and everything else before letting them cut me again. I would look for a doctor in your area who could perform the operation endoscopically. I live in upstate NY and can't find one. |
