This is something I want you all to write in because seeing that you are not alone, is our own best medicine.

Can you control a voice to stop it's repeated message?

Are there a beneficial voice that helps you get chores done?

Is there a voice you like?

Think of different things about voices you may hear and write pros and cons to them.

Is there a way you can befriend a bad voice, and then me that voice listen to you? Do you have a strong mental yell that you can yell back, and make that voice hush???

I have befriended bad voices before but at first they can be hard to manage because they have that whole we're friends now thing going for them but after awhile yes. I would yell but lately it gives me headaches so I try not to.

Can you agree to disagree? Can you draw a line in the sand and say don't cross my line? Making it so the voice is further away sounding?

I talked things out with my most persistent ride-along voice, and we have an understanding now. It helps a lot. Basically, he wanted me to keep myself safe, but he was doing it wrong, so I made a deal where I get to pick what we do but I have to listen to his suggestions. That way, he doesn't get so angry because I'm not fighting him. Some meditation techniques helped me to be able to get there.
