Before I had surgery this is what I did.

For years I would lay down on the floor and put my feet up on a chair. This would make my back pop and then I would feel some what beter for awhile.

If I was able to when I would lay down in bed I would lay on my side in a fetal position.

Waring some kind of brace may work for a shor time. However if you have scheuramann's it will not correct your curve and if it does then you would not have scheurmann's kyphosis but a postural kyphosis. The brace may help with the pain but waring it to much will make your muscles week and when you then take it off your back may be more painfull then before.

Those are the only things I could do to lessen my pain before I had surgery but once my curve got so bad at 120 or higher nothing helped but having the surgery.
