I am interested of course. Me and another person in this forum need this surgery as well. I have a 72 degree curve and my discs are in the beginning stages of herniation but not completely so I probably still have a few years before I will be completely debilitated. I would love to know more. please email me.

Amy,

Please let us know how you are doing post-op. Well I hope. I would love to hear what your recovery time has been and your pain level and your range of motion. Thanks, jamie

Yes, I would like to know as much about the surgery as possible. I recently joined the group and just now came across your post. I am at about 71 degrees and my doctor has me on his list, but a definite surgery date has not been scheduled yet. My doctor has told me that mine will probably also be from the front and back. Thanks, Mark T.

I'm an Advocate

I'd like to hear what you have to say as well! I'm at 80 degrees and finally had a doctor officially diagnose me with Scheuermanns disease recently. I already knew I had it (much thanks to wikipedia.com) but I kept getting tossed around from one doctor to the next! I haven't set a date for my surgery but I'm hoping to have it done in January.
