Hi! I am glad your here! We also have a group on FB called Hump Back Peeps! I am not sure on how to tell you to deal with your pain as I did not have any pre-op. Ice! Heat! Accupuncter and Massage! I think it is normal to have anxiety and fear associated with any big surgery. I know I had my share and ended up on Zanax to help with the anxiety. Keep the lines of communication open with your doc and ask LOTS of questions! They have come such along way in surgery's that they are mointoring you constantly. Good Luck! Where are you seeing a doc at?

yea i know exactly what that felt like. I had surgery a year ago now on august 10. I still have occasional neck pain but rarely ever any back pain. Just weird feelings in my back because the nerves are regenerating. I had surgery at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St.Louis,MO under Dr. keith Bridwell. He is an awesome surgeon by the way in cause your looking for one.

Welcome,

I too was going to recommend a doctor but he is in Memphis TN, and that is a far drive/swim(haha).

No matter what they tell you, you are going to be fixed and better. Please feel free to find me on facebook as well "Billy Fisher". We are in the group 'Hump Peep Palace', please join. You will find that we are all here for each other(no matter how far away we live).
