<description>HI,

I had part of my paratoid gland removed because of a very large tumor. I have had staph infection and a fistula for the last year. IV antibiotics for 9 months and chemo for 1.

Now ....my sublim gland is swollen and has infection in it. The Dr. said suck on lemon drops ....it made it HUGE and very painful.....so I stopped. (hope that is the right decision)

I am being sent to the Mayo clinic in MN&amp;gt;

<description>Hello everyone

I can't tell you how pleased I am to have found you! I'm from London, United Kingdom and I've been looking for a support group for the last few weeks.

I would really like to hear from someone who has had sublingual surgery. I have a swelling in my sublingual gland that has been there since late August and I have been told that the best course of action is to have the gland removed as soon as possible. I am absolutely terrified so any support would be appreciated.

<description>I was used in experimental surgery at age 5 with a partial left parotid removal.

Has anyone else had surgery as a child and what affects did it have on you growing up?

Thanks.

<description>Hi - it's me again...

I got many PMs from members asking to upload their own videos. At this point we can't add to the library . but hope we will be able to soon, we understand the importance of that!

and another (not related) topic...Two weeks ago we added to the (now available on chrome too) the Groupon application that shows you the hottest daily deals in your town, every day. We received great feedback from the people using the toolbar so I suggest trying it out!!!

<description>Hi. My name is Deb and my partner Mikey has just been diagnosed with salivary cancer. He had Hodgkins Lymphoma 28 years ago and the radiation is the likely culprit of the new diagnosis. He has poorly differenciated carcinoma in the lymph nodes and spine. Our Chemo starts Friday 12/3/2010. We've been together only 11 months and we only recently began residing together. This whole situation has him reeling and as his caregiver, I end up being the one who has to remain emotionally strong. Th...</description>

<description>OK.
The No. 1 of all No.1 questions ;-)

At the top right of any page in the support group you'll see a button for &quot;join this group&quot;. Once you press it, you're automatically a group member and able to join the discussions.

Try it ;-)  now!

Waiting for No.2, Any more questions?
