Oh we have so much riding on hope these days. And I hate to get my hopes up only to have them crushed, it is so terrifying.

My husband just had a job interview this afternoon and they gave him an offer but can't hire him until his physical and stress test come back. And to be honest he is overweight and breaths heavy with exertion. We are working on fixing this with both of us. This will help us so much finacially.

They want us to move their 3.5 hours from here, which wouldn't be a big deal if we didn't own a house and I am looking into school.

I finally realized my dream of becoming a PT was not going to happen because I just have to many physical problems going on. So I started looking into medical sonography- like babies and muscle problems. I am in love with the program and have submitted applications. But I won't know anything until the beginning of August.

We own a house in what used to be a good neighborhood, now I consider it bordering on the hood. We owe $34k more than what it is worth because of the market. But we have hopefully, a silver lining. A friend of my husbands is enamored with the house and he wants to buy it for what we owe. We have submitted the paperwork and are just anxiously awaiting the banks reply if he will qualify for mortgage assumption. It may take a month to find out, then he wants to wait 5-6 months to close because he had to sign a lease. No problem on the closing, it lets me stay here to enjoy my pool and I will know if I am accepted to school and my husbands 3 months of training (when he gets the new job) will be over.

If I am not accepted into the sonography program we will move pending the transfer of our house.

If accepted I will go to school here, rent a place hopefully and he will rent a place there. Not ideal but we can manage for 2 years while I am in school.

Oh the hoping and waiting game for these things are so tense. I can feel my neck/ shoulder dystonia jumping around.

Please keep us in your thoughts or prayers, whatever works for you.

Tonya

Thank you all! He starts his new job today. The other company he was working for was just messing everyone over, they would say we have a job for you, but then would call and say it got cancelled. They just hired 70 new people, how are you going to hire that many ppl when you don't have enough work for the ones you have? He has been home 2 months without work. This is not the first time it happened, one year he was home for 6 months. Anyway, the new company guarantees him work for at least 7 days out of the month which doesn't sound like a lot, but with the ridiculous amount of money he gets paid for those seven days we will not want. The insurance seems better, but won't actually know until July 1st, which stinks but it will be manageable. They said he doesn't have to move, but they would prefer it. SO we will see what happens with the house and my school-should know by August.
