HI,

My Bio tells a lot about me. But in a nut shell I have struggled with Endometriosis and now seems I may be facing RA.

I have tested positive for RA, but all my other tests were neg or normal.

I should say I have Raynauds as well.

Though my Rhuem Doc says he didnt think I am active right now, I am in pain daily and would like to know why then?

I go from feet to hands , knees , neck and shoulder pain daily. Swollen hands upon waking.....

I am super active and have always been so I wonder often are these normal pains or is it RA or some other dreaded auto immune prob!

I run an online support group for Endo, but this is a new one to me so please HELP!!

Hugs N Prayers to all

Hello and welcome to the group!!! I'm so sorry that you are suffering. Arthritis can be terribly painful. My 2 year old daughter was just diagnosed 2 months ago and my mom has had it for years. I have lupus and fibromyalgia.

You can still have pain when you're not in a flare....I think!!! My daughter has been in pain since we first noticed that anything was wrong....She was limping. Is it your joints, muscles, or both that hurt? ARe you swollen anywhere? My joints and muscles hurt constantly from my illnesses. There is never a break. My blood work comes back okay for athritis but I feel like I have it sometimes.

How long have you had it? Are you on any medication? My daughter is having shots on Tuesday. They are putting her to sleep and giving her shots in 6 joints....knees. ankles, toes, and fingers. Have you ever had shots in your joints? I'm so worried.

I hope that you feel better soon. You may want to ask your heumatologist about fibromyalgia if your body is hurting and you don't know why.

Take care.

Your Friend, Chris

Hi MaMaCass,

Welcome to the group!! Has your doctor said anything about you also having osteoarthritis? I ask because it's possible to have both RA and OA...the RA can be in remission but the OA can still be flared up, because they are the result of different processes.

Are you currently taking any meds? Anti-inflammatories? etc?
