MDJunction to me

jenniferdiva"MDJunction has been just an amazing support for me. The people who are on mdj are so nice! Unlike the many other support sites that I have been on. I have made several friends on mdj who are so supportive and so educated about mental illness. Of course non of us are doctors, but we certainly offer each other hugs, opinions, and advice. I have learned a great deal from my friends on mdjunction. I am also encouraging other people who suffer from mental illness to come on to MDJ. It can be a life line." (jenniferdiva)

For everyone who is hurting tonight....It really can happen....I have been on MTX for almost a year...I have been on Enbrel for seven weeks. Two days ago my pain started to decrease. I can move....I can get out of a chair without having to think about it. It really is an amazing feeling. I have been in pain all over my body for over a year. I had forgotten what it felt like not to hurt so badly. I still have slight pain,,,,but nothing like I have had in the past weeks. So, Yes there is HOPE...and I hope for all of you that your doctor helps you find the best pain relief he/she can offer. Hugs to all.....Molly5 (Kim) Wink

Congrats Molly!!! Glad to hear this....and Cella, how are you? I

know you have had a pretty hard time....are you getting any relief?

Plaquenil is helping me, along with prednisone.....but it feels like

Captain Krunch is in my hip joints.

Hi Cyrusray

I am okay, just taking one day at a time..my doc...has started me back on the methotrexate, prednisone (continued) remicade infusions, etc. etc....

I still have a follow up with the pulmonologist and cardiologist...can't wait to get all this over with...

Not counting the pain and swelling from RA, I actually feel okay as far as the heart is concerned, so I am happy about that. I will keep you posted after my follow ups with the multiple docs...I am really tired of all the different doctors..what ever happened to one stop shopping..lol...

Cyrusray, I hope your hips get better...it sounds so painful...hang in there...

Cool Hello Ammelo, Have you been able to try Enbrel? Is it the cost or your doctor that is keeping you from being able to try it? I feel bad that if you want to try it ...you are unable too. Everyones life is valuable....and you shouldn't have to suffer with the pain if there is something out there that could help you. Wishing you better days.....KimSmile
