MDJunction to me

Sylvia4648"I have suffered from depression most of my life, but had some long, non-depressed times. The last 16 years have been an on-going, constantly worsening nightmare for me medically, socially and with my family. 11/2008 to the present has been the worst time in my life, and new things just keep piling up. During that time I’ve gone from being mostly homebound to being totally homebound due to the errors of about 2 dozen doctors who overmedicated me so badly that I came home w/ 4 conditions I didn’t go in with. I spent months wanting to die, and finding MDJ may well have saved my life. It’s one of the worst feelings to know that nobody on earth needs you for anything; but now that I’ve been a group leader for awhile, there are people here who need me. Thanks MDJ." (Sylvia4648)

I don't think enough studies are done concerning "anything" in relation to RA. We probably find more of the pieces of the puzzle sharing with one another. And then you have one rheumy saying yes, and another one saying no to the same questions. Hugs

Ladies; It is early morning in Oklahoma. I don't know if I have over

done ...as bits says...or I am getting worse. I can feel this stuff

playing football in my body during the night, and it is so BRAZEN that

it still does it when I am awake!!!! It has been a SNEAKY disease that I consider an ENEMY....it is my turn to have the ball.....

I have been MTX plus celebrex, etc. since FFeb 2 this year and not a

lot of difference. Considering the SWINE FLU is out...when I see

doc again, I think I will ask for biologic...like Doxycycline....

I spent the day on my back or in a chair....like a SLUG...after

hearing all of you.....I fear more is coming....but I am

a fighter...YEEHAW!!!!!

Kathy put on those SK boots and kick away! You are a fighter. Youve been on mtx for a little over two months, and that's about when it starts to kick in. Its usually at least 8 weeks for most I think. Hang in there. I hope you feel better today, and at least if they're playing football in there I hope they're wearing those cute tight pants.. LOL

Cy, I agree with kv. Even if she does take me from serious reading to burst out laughing. LOL

Doxy is not a biological. Bios are Enbrel, Hunaria, Remicide, etc. They are the big guns. Good luck and hope you fell better soon. Hugs

Sorry bits.. I just cant help but to interject humor into things. It's the only way to get through life especially when times are tough. If it gets too much for people, tell me and I'll ease off. I can be serious too...

kv, laughter is still the best medicine. Many times I will be in a mad, sad, bad mood and then a funny thought will come into my head. Then before I know it I am laughing! And all of a sudden...things are better. Help em coming honey. Hugs

Cy.. There is a theory , among some doctors and holistic(natural healing) people, that antibiotics will put RA into remission, because its caused by a virus in the first place. Its certainly worth a try. Just remember if youre on antibiotics to take acidophilus for your tummy, because high doses will wreak havoc on your system.

( antibiotics kill the natural bacteria and will end up making you nauseous and run to the bathroom all day) ..

Its worth a try ... cant be any worse than any other drug youre taking!

Great....and what doesn't give you the craps or constipation????

It is worth a try, because I have to return to the Houston area

eventually and sure don't want a whiff of hog heaven......
