Today I was just walking at work and my knee kept giving out. I was really afraid that I was going to fall, but each time I caught myself. I have no pain in my knee today.... just wondering if this could be RA related? It is pretty scary!

I have that starting to happen. I seem to catch myself with the other leg. I'll be interested to read responses to.

I had that happen with my ankle last fall. It was Halloween and I was headed down my sidewalk to go go work. Before I knew it I had biffed it and ended up in the tomatoe patch by my house face first in the mud!! Geez, there was absolutely no warning. Glad I wasn't going down the stairs! I have also had the same sensation with my hips. Is this the RA??

Take good care,

MartyC

It happens to me mostly when I step onto it as I turn. So far, I've been able to catch myself with my good knee. I'm trying to remember to alter my walking patterns.

I think it's improving a little as I strengthen my knees with exercises from PT.
