So I started my new treatment plan,,, prednisone is gonna be with me for awhile, 15mgs twice a day for 2 weeks, and then 10mgs for 2 weeks and 5mgs for two weeks.

Prednisone leave a metalic taste Sick I am guessing that is normal,, I sure hope alot of the inflammation goes away.

will keep everyone posted

I bet the pred will help you alot. Pred can leave a yucky aftertaste. I take mine with water than take several sips of a cola and nibble a cracker.

Praying for you alby.

I never know how pred will make me feel.

Sometimes it makes me very hateful. Sometimes weepy. Sometimes just lots of energy. But always sweaty.

Last time I took it(high doses) it didn't affect me in the weepy/hateful department.

My family was thankful.

Just try to keep as cool as possible. If you have a fan turn it toward you.

Anything that cools your body will help.

I was weepy on a higher dose, but tapered to lower and am much better. I think the prednisone sweatiness may be what's waking me up 4-5 times a night. Thanks for the fan idea!

Pred reduces inflammation AND supresses immunity. My docs alway warned me about this.

So please be careful friends.
