Wondered about these bulges at my ankles,so to show up so I did't really notice them at first was so busy did't pay enough attn I guess.Have ganglion cysts on both ankles and are getting painful.Another thing to deal with.

Have you mentioned this to your rheumy? It's important that they know these type of changes right away..

Have to go see her next week.She did't look at my feet or ankles the first visit even though I told her they were hurting.This is my second visit.Gonna have to get used to telling them everything.

What do they do for cysts?

They might do an ultrasound to see if any arteries are involved. Might draw out some fluid with a needle. If its a big problem or is causing problems - might do surgery. Hard to say exactly. Could be that your doctor will decide they don't need to anything. Do tell your doctor all you can think of because it will help them make the best decision.
