MDJunction to me

neshama48"Having Crohn's Disease for over 26 years, in the first few years, it lonely and isolating.
Though now my disease is in a near perfect remission, my friends and family are sympathetic to me, but I can not talk to them about this disease. When I stumbled across MD Junction, and met others who had the same disease I was not alone in battling the disease. MD Junction is like a second family, without the judgement or guilt of having Crohn's Disease, but they do give you love and support.

So I started my first week of the medicine, I feel a little sluggish, and awfully tired, other that my knees are killing me today they are warm to the touch, also both sides of my shoulders and collar bone hurts.

It can take up to 6 weeks for the mtx to kick in and you do tend to feel sluggish and you can also feel nauseous. Have they given you predisone as well? you may well find as i did that the weekend when i took the mtx i felt sick and exhausted all the time, if you have this and it continues you could ask your rheumy to try the injection form, i found the side effects minimal with that and i saw a big difference in my symptoms, but that is just my experience. I hope your flair settles down soon hugs
