Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group

I'm slightly frustrated... I was diagnosed with severe RA last month although they told me I've had it for years. They started me on Medrol and Methotrexate Injections but I was allergic to the Methotrexate so they started me on Arava and now I'm allergic to it too. What's next? I'm allergic to everything they put me on. My hands look terrible and all I want is to feel better. Hopefully we find something that will help soon.

Sorry about all those allergies, that is really frustrating!!! There are so many RA meds out there, one can hope there is one for you, one you will tolerate well and will help you. I trully hope so! Keep us posted on how

I really hope they find a good one for me. I've been sufferring with this long enough. I don't need allergic reactions and terrible icky rashes on top of it. Lol

I know! I always feel the exact same way when i get alergies

I am also allergic to methotrexate and sulfisalizine. So I know how you feel. It is super frustrating. Good luck!
