Angela,

I'm glad to know that you're feeling better and i hope things continue to improve for you as you take your new meds. You are right, this IS a busy time of year. This fall my middle kid got married - her marine was getting ready to ship out to Afganistan and they decided they wanted to be married before instead of waiting til he gets back. Also, my youngest is graduating this Saturay from military academy. I do not have my tree up an i'm not ready. I think i'm just gonna have to pick a day, aim my feet in the same direction and go for it.

You are such a dear to think of asking how everyone is doing. I'm wishing i had 2 clones to run around and do my bidding. That's pretty much what i need.

How about the rest of you??

Laura

Hi Angela, thanks for the upbeat message Smile it's always nice to have one of those. I'm so happy that you are starting to feel better.

This is my favorite time of the year but I haven't been well enough to do the things I had to do. However, I am very blessed as my family and friends jumped right in and got it all done for me. My brother even wrapped all my presents for me. I started my shopping in the summer otherwise I still wouldn't be done.LOL! I usually like to be done by Thanksgiving but then I HAVE to stay out of the stores otherwise, I'm never really done if you know what I mean Smile

We had a very nice weather day today, that is for Maine, it was around 40-45 but now we have a cold snap coming for several days and it's not expected to reach 20....brrrrr

Thanks again for checking in Smile

Connie

So glad to know you guys are doing well. @ Bearlie-a wedding? How fun was that a winter wedding. Was it a big one? I am sorry your daughter is shipping out. Please give her a huge THank you for me and let her know that someone she doesn't know is praying for her safe return and is very appreciative of all she is doing. Same for your son!! You must be one proud momma Smile @ MAmmy- you are truely blessed to have such a wonderful family. There is no way I could get my brother to wrap anything hey matter of fact he called and asked me to wrap a gift he sent my mom lol of course I will do it seeing as he is in Portland Smile I hope you get to feeling better and are able to enjoy ur family more.

Angela --

i will try and answer your questions. I had one child, she is married and has a baby (Zach). My husband had 2 grandkids (i'm a second wife) and they moved in with us going into their h.s. years so - that's my middle and youngest kids. The middle girl ran off and married her marine. HE is in Afganistan, she is here trying to get a job and get her life ready to move when he gets back. We like this young man so i'm somewhere between being happy for them and wanting to kick her butt. Yes.... she'd have to stand still and i'd have to hold onto something but i think i could still kick it.

The youngest who is just graduating has not decided yet whether he wants to go on and inlist now or not. If i get my leg up there i may kick his butt too just for good measure. Okay - i probably can't kick either butt but i like the idea. Wink I do get much enjoyment from all these young people but i'm tell you they are making my hair gray.
