MDJunction to me

cinderella"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Hiya everyone

This is a game, but is intended to include your pain and emotions.

Here's how it works. It's called ABC because we are going to move through the alphabet. This game could take days, weeks maybe longer to reach Z.

You can use any adjective that you like but it has to start with the letter we are on. If we're on A it has to start with an A, if we're on B, it has to start with a B, if we're on C.. yep it has to start with a C and so forth.

While in any letter you can keep playing. You can make new posts with a new word to describe what you're feeling or how you're feeling.

You can use a Thesaurus or Dictionary. It is quite okay to do so, plus it feeds our minds.

If you would like to when you choose your word you can even add in parenthesis the reason you feel that way at the moment.(You don't have to describe the reason behind your word if you don't want to)

This will even let each of us know how the others are doing by expression of words. If we're happy, sad, energetic, feeling spiritual, tired, stressed, playful, upset..etc etc

I'll start.. We're on the letter "A"

---

My word is-- Antsy

(I'm feeling a little restless)

---

Have fun everyone,

~Twinkle

P.S.

(We'll base the movement of the game on the members who are present on a regular basis.

If you come in to the game and if for example we're on the letter G, just jump right in and start with G.

We start a new letter each evening at 5:30 p.m PST, 7:30 p.m. Central and 8:30 p.m EST

Hiya Lazy

Can't wait for others to join in. I was thinking later we could even do other ABC games. ABC music, ABC cities, ABC names, etc or even different kinds all together. This game is something that isn't a priority, but is here for something to do, too.

I just made this one up off the ABC idea and just changed it all to suit us. ~smiles

Thank you for playing,

Love your word and description/answer

I think that it would be good for Twinkle to decide when we go on to the next letter, does anyone agree? She could start each new letter for us, if she is willing.

Question #2. Can we do 2 for a letter if we want to?

Hi Lazy

Yep, we're still on A's. (Thank you)

This is so we can let those who aren't here yet get a chance to play, too. We won't be waiting for all 165 members to take their turn by no means because many don't come hardly ever, but there's a few regular members who post frequently. Would like to wait for others before moving on too quickly.

And sure while we're still in any given letter.. you can post more than 1, 2 or 3. If you want to as your day moves forward choose a new word for how you're feeling. ~smiles.

Warm wishes,

~Twinkle
