Hey all My name is Rebecca, or Becca. I just turned 30. I have a wonderful son who just turned 6. March 12 2007 I shattered my right leg close to the ankle. It was a mess. I had surgery the same day to put 9 screws, a metal plate and a piece of Kevlar. I healed well. Well bones and muscles. The tendons had a hard time healing. I got the boot off end of May that same year, and had it put back on in August. I again got it off in January of this year through a lot of PT. I had a weird problem with spasms in my foot. My PT thought it was RSD, but the doctors said it wasn’t. Now to the present. I was finally diagnosed with RSD the end of June. 16 months after I broke my leg. I am trying to find a doctor who knows about RSD so I can get treatment something other than drugs which is what my current doc wants to do to me. I finally saw a Dr. who knows about RSD and I had my first of 3 nerve blocks. Hoping it works well. I look forward to getting to know all of you. Becca ><> Hugs and Blessings |
