Hello Everyone!

I was admitted into the hospital on Mon. for an abcess and was given an antibiotic, It caused an allergic reaction!W00t The effect was so profound that a code blue was called, and I have been in ICU since. Trying to maintained to respiratory and heart rate, and to make sure that there is no kidney damaged.

Anywhoo...This is the first time other than the first week or two since I injured my foot that I have been totally off of it! Dizzy let me tell you OMGW00t Ouch! I tried to get up like a normal person and go to the Bathroom as opposed to a bed pan....OMG! all I could do is remember what "Rev" said, " If you don'y use it you loose it!" No CACA!

On Mon. I had also recieved my "Richie Brace" and New Balance Gym Shoes. I was so excited to be getting my life back to some since of routine or Normal.

So I know that I am going to have to endure alot more pain, but after I get through the rest of this. WOW...SMH!

F820, I am so sorry about your hospitalization with the abcess, and allergic reaction. Those are so scary and dangerous. I hope when you leave the hospital it will be with a presciption for epipens among your other scripts. Breathing is among the most important aspects of life (~;

Use or lose it has to be tempered with common sense (~: Heal fast and well, friend and know that a hug is on its way as are lots of prayers for healing and lower pain.

Thanks Rev,

I don't think that I'm going to need an eppi pen only because it was IV infusion of the antibiotic of Vancomyicn. But, thanks for the hus and the encourgement.

F820,

You have really been through it!! It's got to be a relief to be getting back to just breathing well and having the ability to walk. I'm really sorry that you needed to be hospitalized but have to also be grateful that you survived the treatment!

I do hope that as you try to get back to "normal" things will go much more smoothly than they have this week. Take really good care of yourself, and remember to balance pushing yourself with taking it easy. I sincerely do hope this next week will be MUCH better than the last. Let us know how you're doing!

Glad you're better!

Oh, I'm so sorry that I didn't get that. Are you still in the ICU?? I hope not. Any idea when you'll be released?

You must be worn out from the pain and infection. I hope you'll be getting out soon. Let us know, OK? I'll be thinking of you. Wish there was more I could do. Is the Richie Brace painful with the RSD? Make the nurses and doctors take good care of you!

I truly hope you're much better soon!!!

F820,

I'm sorry to hear that you're still sick enough to be in ICU. I'm sure you could think of a million ways the journey could have been a bit easier than this! Just keep doing everything you can to get better. I hope soon to hear that you're back home and hating RSD is the worse thing in your life.

Get better quick!!

I'm glad you're home and up on your feet but sorry your foot is swollen and burning and throbbing. Sometimes life hands you grapefruits. And if you don't like grapefruit juice...To have gone through what you've just gone through and come home and nothing has changed except some new hardware, is the pits. Know we are here with you and many of us understand so YOU ARE NOT ALONE! EVER! Whenever you feel alone, remember that. Come here and vent, and tell us what you need. We care.

Sending a gentle hug and my prayers for continued healing.
