Hello everyone I have not been on here forever. I have had a long year however doing okay. My husband and I our looking into moving back to Oklahoma where he is from as he has several job opportunities there and we are both graduating in May. I had a spinal cord stimulator placed in November just had to have a revamp surgery two weeks ago so far so good for that part of it however still in wheelchair and walker as my RSD spread to my leg during surgery and workers comp is battling every step of way. I have incredible attorneys. Long story short I realize this is a disorder I will plaqued with the rest of my life and am looking for a great DR. to take over my care in OKC, OK as I would like to move with my husband obviously and to a warmer climate as the cold in CO is killing me. If anyone knows of any good DR I would appreciate any and all help and suggestions.

Hello!

I hope your move to OK City gives you the relief that warmer weather brings to most of us (myself included) who are able to spend some time there.

As far as a CRPS/RSD physician, the web site in my sigfile has a quite comprehensive listing of such physicians, listed by state. There are also many other resources for locating good pain management physicians. I hope you find what you seek!

Good luck in your relocation, and please let us know how things went after you're settled in!

Howard

Hi BB7 -

I'm sorry that my input to you before wasn't clear; I sometimes forget that everyone isn't familiar with standard Internet terminology! A sigfile, short for "signature file", is the short collection of information that each person designs to end every post.

In my sigfile is this line: "Internet: http://thblack.com/links/RSD/". This means that to access the site, just cut & paste "http://thblack.com/links/RSD/" into your browser's address window and hit <enter>.

Hope this helps!

Howard

P.S. I just noticed after posting this that the URL (address) above automatically becomes a clickable link, so just click it and you'll be there!
