Thanks. I just seem to be having a hard time figuring out how to get the reply in the right place to the right person. Anyone reading threads containing my posts will be certain I have lost my mind. And I'm hugging all sorts of people who didn't hug me, which is fine, but I'd like to return the hugs I've gotten legitimately as well. As for PM, I'm working on it. Thanks so much for doing this. I have some idea what it takes to run a site like this, and I appreciate your efforts.

Rose

Barby Ingle went into remission after getting infusions. If you are interested in hearing about her, I just interviewed he on the ketamine treatments and her remission. You can listen to the archive at:

The show just finished a few minutes ago.

I had a dental phobia for years. Find a good one through referrerals, and then interview him or her. Explain your phobia, and check the response. If you get even the tiniest hint of impatience, run. I finally found a good one, and I've been seeing him for 22 years. He was even able to talk me into getting braces at the age of 40!

HI....OMG you talk about dental phobias...... I hve been to Viet Nam, and use to work on high steel..... as much as 100 stories high.....

But nothing scares me more than the dang Dentist.....lol

When I was a kid, my dentist was an old army dentist. And he did not like kids.... he would not use any pain killers NO matter what was being done..... and he would put his knee right in the middle of my chest to hold me down... when he was drilling or pulling a tooth...... it was a nightmare....... still is.....lol...

Blink Blink

That's what Laughing Gas is for Craig.....LOL

At least now with all my teeth gone (thank you RSD) no more trips to the dentist EVER. If I need work done on my dentures, I leave them there and go home Pinch

Gotta love it..sounds like we had the same dentist when we were kids.....

Actually, Craig, laughing gas (nitrous oxide, N2O) is available, legally, although its stated purpose is obviously not as an anesthetic.

Anyone wishing details - please write me a PM. I assure you, this is completely legal and above-board. I just don't want the info out there publicly.

Welcome to the group. I have been out sick for the last 9 or 10 days and returned to 654 emails not counting junk and spam. But though this is not a group anyone would want to belong to, for those of us who are allied against this monster RSD, it is a great group to belong to. I have found answers to my questions, support when I am in pain, or sad or in the midst of too much loss and many good friends. I hope all of you new members find half the support I have found.

I am beginning to have prob;ems with my teeth which were pretty much cavity-free but because of 8 years of childhood steroid and antibiotic use, all my molars came in with no enamal tops and had to be filled back in the mid-sixties with big emalgam(sp) fillings. Which broke every tooth after I developed RSD. So all had to be capped. And now all are breaking off at the gumline. And the front teeth are loosing the enamil too so the teeth are all eroding away and breaking off and...I take good care of my teeth, brushing often and flossing everytime I eat. I also take calcium, vitamin D which I am always low in despite taking 5000mg a day by doctor's orders, and Potassium along with a multivitamin.

Rosered221, remission does occur, mostly in the first 8 months and in the younger patients, but we have heard of remissipns in our members, temporary and some seem to be pretty long-term. I would contact the Cleveland Pain clinic, Mayo's Pain Clinic and the RSDSA.org which has great information about research on RSD and new treatments as well as some encouraging and/or uplifting stories from fellow sufferers. I haven't read or heard much about John Hopkins on RSD. Perhaps someone else has and can recommend them too.

Sending hugs and prayers for lower pain and better rest.
