Rape Support Group

i was raped when i was a kid , now that i'm an adult i still have problems from what happened to me , the most difficult thing was that i had no one to turn to at the time ,that is probably why i made sure that when i grow up i'll have someone there ,i have bunch of bffs and friend that doesn't know abt this (excapt 4 2 ppl), and because i never where close to my family i havnt told them even that i use to think abt it , i do visit them still , my community takes rape diffrently and i don't give a shit , what happened just happend , i'm not ashamed or anything but i don't feel that i have to tell everyone mainly because even if you act all supportive you couldn't possibly understand it ,till you go through it .. thnx 4 reading this

Hi Jesse101. Welcome to the group. I'm very sorry for what you have been through. It's really tough when your family is not the supportive type. You don't need to tell anyone you don't want to. I agree with you that people don't know what it's like unless they have been through it too. How are you feeling now? I'm glad your here and thank you for sharing. You will get a lot of support here.
