Has anyone been so sick and suffered from severe IPF and received a double lung transplant? If so, please share your story...

My mom is severely ill with IPF and is waiting in ICU for a double lung transplant. She is on a bipap machine and is very weak. We pray that she can just hang on a little bit longer in hopes that she will get this transplant but I fear that she will suffer til the end and I promised her I wouldn't let that happen.

I am not aware of anyone here who had a double transplant but if there is anyone I am sure you will hear. Welcome to our group. We will support you in any way we can.
