I was running my own pharmacy with my wife. In about July 2007, I had some trouble sleeping at night - I had some slight discomfort in the groin area and this made it impossible to keep still. On September 3rd 2007 it was confirmed I had advanced prostate cancer. We urgently sold the Business and I now do not work. I'm now 54 and still responding well to Casodex tablets. I continue to have Zoladex L.A. implants although they were pronounced rather ineffective in August last year. Sorry this sounds so formal - I do have a lighter side but I'm just outlining my position with this. My wife is slightly older than me and she has also retired. I get on her nerves at times but dread to think how I would feel if I'd been on my own with this problem. Regards to you all, David.

Well you could increase your insurance and just lay down and die or fight this aliment! Do you want to live or not? I suggest you get on wheat grass like yesterday and a little acai berry or die. It's up to you. Grow wheat grass yourself, buy it from jamba juice or a local grower and live. Zoladex is hell. I will never take another injection of that terrible stuff. I should die according to UCD next Feburary. My PSA is down to .11 maybe downer by now and I won't do Zoladex. Hot flashes every 20 minutes. You could clock them. DAvid you are too young to die. Listen to us! Sorry to be so strong for your first post, but you need it!Wink
