MDJunction to me

jayna01"My name is Jayna and I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much MDJunction has meant to me. I always felt so alone before I joined in April of 2012. I felt like there wasn't anyone that really cared about me and what I was going through. I felt like there was no one that would truly listen to me in what I was feeling. Nobody was there for me. That is before I found MDJ!

I have found and met such good people on these forums. I never ever knew there were such compassionate people before MDJ. It's also nice to know that I can come here anytime and get support for what I am feeling. I feel like I have met some wonderful life long friends. It is also an outlet for me to try and help other people that are hurting. It gives me a good feeling inside and gives me self confidence in helping other people.

I hope MDJ will be as good for you as it has been for me! Many Blessings and Much love.

bad news , but could be worse i guess.

Hubby's prostate cancer spread to his hip. Had 55 radiation treaments, Lupron Depot hormone treatments. But basically he has incurable cancer.

Good news is the treatments can keep the cancer at bay for quite a while till the cancer figures it out and gets to tough to treat.

Hopefully that will be years. It has been one year so far and some go as far as 10 years.

My cancer is in remission, but I might have yet another kind. Seeing about that in August.

But all in all we are holding up well, doing regular living stuff, and some special things too. So if you are in this boat too...don't let the boat sink... keep plugging the hole and having fun.

love to all, Jeanne

jeanneS,

Glad to see you are back, I am sorry the news isn't as good as it could be.

Your outlook in dealing with all this crap is one that I wish I had.

You sound like you have found a balance, and try like the dickens to walk

that fine line. When you are having a bad day, share it with us. It can

make the bad times bearable. I have found many reasons to laugh or smile

because of what people bring here. While the sad things have a big impact

on us, people do bring lots of hope and happy things.

Do keep sharing and let us know what is going on.

You may find the writing helps you find your balance.

Well, believe it or not we are coping better than I thought we would.

We know tough times are in our future, but they are for everyone in reality.

On top of all that , we found out Social Security overpaid us and now we are getting a lot less money a month.

When it rains it pours. We have everything we need, now it's just a matter of making sure we can pay our bills. Sure wish they had found out their mistake a lot sooner. We would have not bought and things with the money. Devil I hope there is a special place in eternity for SS people Tongue

Thanks for all the support, love Jeanne

Hang in there Jeannie, I know that sometimes we get somethings that we don't deserve but as long as we have breath, we have something to be thankful for. When I first found out about the things that were to come after the surgery, that the doctors don't tell us, I was very depressed but my wife and kids kept me going and here it is almost a year later and I am at the place where I am ok with most of the things that we have to go through as the results of PC. I hope that you will keep putting the plugs into your boat as it seems to be filling up with the things that want to pull us under and you will get to the point where your sinking boat will only be half full. My prayers are going out to you. Hang in there and lets us help you stop some of your leaks in life by letting us share the better things in life with you.
