I don't know of any exercises other than Kegels. Is there some reason you want to avoid them? As far as "alternative medicines," I don't know. I CAN tell you that any diuretic--caffeine, alcohol, etc.--is going to exacerbate the problem. So staying away from those might help. Talk to your urologist and see what he thinks.

It's my thought the only medication that might help is if bladder spasms were causing you to leak. Other than that it's kegels and time. As Mark mentioned there are things you can avoid, but more than anything it's usually a 3 month journey sometimes more.

Here's a good article to read about shrinkage. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it is common.

I don't think alot of men are going to go into details about this other than to say it is very possible to have orgasms without an erection. Here's an article about the subject.

If nighttime incontinence is disturbing your sleep, ask your physician about desmopressin acetate, 0.2 mg, one or two at bedtime. Desmopressin is an analog of vasopressin, anti-diuretic hormone. It will decrease urine output for several hours. You would use it only once per day, so that your blood sodium does not drop dangerously.

Hidelight, I had a RP 14 months ago. Yes the problem about the shrinkage happened to me and the foreskin stayed about the same, often think I should have had a circumcision at the same time. And I have tried it all thinking it would help get the blood moving and the erection would return, but no such luck. So you are in the middle of the experience of the life after RP. Hope your problems will resolve better than mine have.
