hi im rachael, and my 17 year old sister is pregnant. she is dues in September.

I just really don't understand why she did it, and why now?

she never seemed like she would ever go that far, and I'm really upset because everything has and is changing. everything. and I just want answers to why but I can't seem to find them. I wish this would have never happened. my family and I are already cramed into a small house and we can't have another one around, there's just not enough room. and it males me upset cause she never thought about oh what about my family? and living space? and all those other questions, it's so stressful. and dont get me wrong i am happy, and slowly starting to become excited. I just really need someone to talk to and listen. cause none of my friends understand.

please and thanks,

rachael.

hello! My name is Ashley, and I am 17 and have a 7 week old son. Because of getting pregnant i have made 6 people cram into a two bedroom house. I never thought of how packed the house would be, or how if i got pregnant it would affect everyone. I just assumed it couldnt happen. I can imagine how tough it would be for you, and if you need someone to talk to i'm a great listener! (:

I can't imagine what your going through. It has to be tough for sure. I don't know your sister and if she got pregnant on purpose or not, but I would assume that it totally wasn't planned because that is how it is for most teen moms. I was 17 when I got pregnant with my son and honestly when I was having sex I never thought about that being the outcome it was all just heat of the moment and honestly that is true to most people who are sexually active. I know it can be hard, but just let her know that you are there to love and support and even help her. That is what she needs the most. If you ever need to talk to anyone about anything you can PM me. You may even try going to the "Pregnant Teen" group. The girls on there are wonderful and there are many who will be able to talk to you.
