MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

I'm getting married in a week and I just found out that I'm a 4 weeks pregnant. My soon to be husband and I love kids and planned to have them, but not until we were more financially stable and had been married for a few years. I know his family will be overjoyed, but I'm afraid my parents are going to be so disappointed in me. I am also afraid I'm not ready to be a mother. I'm worried I don't have the means to take care of my child like he or she deserves. Is this normal for a first pregnancy?

Anyone have any ideas about dealing with telling my parents?

Thanks!

Let me tell you it is very normal to have all those feelings. I have given birth to three wonderful boys ages now are 21, 14, and 11. My youngest is 11 and I am now pregnant again very unexpected. Even though I have raised three boys and also my two year old grandson I am scared to death of starting over again. So you are not alone. But trust me when say asoon as you hear that baby cry for the first time you will know that everything is going to be fine. You will make a wonderful mother.
