PMS & PMDD Support Group

well i finally got the money to get my prescription for PMDD I am now on Sertraline which is a generic form of Zoloft, my doctor wants me to take it every morning so i took it this morning only to be very drowsy and not with it all day long so im now gonna take this stuff before bedtime because i dont wanna be sleepy all day for a few weeks, so has anybody tried this for there PMDD any thoughts on it?

Sometimes the drowsyness goes away, sometimes it doesnt. A lot of antidepressants make you drowsy (I take mine at bed time too). I havent specifically been on zoloft, but I've been on a lot of different meds with mixed results. Unfortunately it usually takes 3 weeks before you see any real difference in symptoms. I hope it will help you.

well so far so good, ive taken it at night and it makes me super drowsy but *Knocks on wood* other then that no other side affects, notice my grumpy moods dont stay as long as they normally do, actually feeling better its nice to not wanna crawl up a tree due to my hormones going all wacky

i'd take sleepy over psychotic any day lol
