Needwaves. Welcome to our group im so glad you found us and you are here. First you are not a freak. Alot of people here are going threw the something you are. Try this when you get into Thar situation where smells trigger your PSTD Walk away from them to where you can't smell them no more. Sit down some where and wright down what you smelled. If you are in therapy take your notes to her or him so your therapist can better help you. In the mean time stay here with us we are here for you. And remember. You are not a freak.

thanks scott...that's great advise. i try to walk away when smell is my trigger. i haven't tried to write these things down, but i will from now on.

i want to say thank you for sharing your ordeal with me (us) here. you are a fantastic example of survival and grace!!!
