HI I have been suffering from my current ptsd for 5 years now though some docs say I have had ptsd my whole life. I woke up 5 years ago to my house burning down around me and was able to save me, my daughter and my dog. It was extremely traumatizing to lose everything I had ever owned. EVERYTHING!. I was left with my panties and a night gown. I have lived the last 5 years of my life off of the charity of others. That would be the one thing that I can say I have learned from this horrible event in my life is that there are still people out there with a kind heart. THe docs say that I have lifelong PTSD due to being raised by my bipolar,cluster b personality disorder, semi-meunchausen's mother. I was never taught healthy emotions. Now as an adult I am beginning to learn what that means. And thankfully through finding this site I am learning more and more everyday. Many blessings. BE BLESSED!
