Switched from the abilify to latuda and have noticed immediate changes. The abilify kept me sort of disconnected from my emotions and provided a kind of buffer. That was the good effect and it helped me regain a grip on my intensity. The bad side effects were extensive though. I felt bloated and really uncomfortable any time I ate anything. I got severe headaches, heartburn, overheating, fatigue and exhaustion, dizziness and naseau, lack of energy and drive, massive weight gain, stabbing heart pain, E.D., and slept alot. I've recovered overnight from these effects after swithching to latuda. Can't begin to explain how much better I am feeling now and my weight is quickly dropping. My energy is way up and my overheating is way down. I had read that there were some questionable side effects from the abilify and for me, it was definitely true. I am so glad I'm off of that medicine(?). The help it gave me was signifigant but, at what cost? I really hope I don't end up calling an ambulance chasing lawyer later for internal damage done while on abilify.Blink

Glad to provide at least one persons experience and perspective. I'm with you on the sharing knowledge. I also believe it's important for us to keep our minds and options, open. May we all find what we need.
