MDJunction to me

neshama48"Having Crohn's Disease for over 26 years, in the first few years, it lonely and isolating.
Though now my disease is in a near perfect remission, my friends and family are sympathetic to me, but I can not talk to them about this disease. When I stumbled across MD Junction, and met others who had the same disease I was not alone in battling the disease. MD Junction is like a second family, without the judgement or guilt of having Crohn's Disease, but they do give you love and support.

Is run away and disappear for good. The flashback episodes are becoming worse, every day. I don't want to deal with it. I would much rather ignore it how I was and not deal with it. Its draining, all consuming. They tell me I'm strong and that I can make it through this and i want to tell them to shove it. There are many things going on right now and I dont have the time to deal with any of it more than to suffer from it.

pixie Welcome to the group. I know what you are saying. Ignoring and running from it seem easy to do but really it's not. I actually that will make even worse. You may think your winning the fight but in time it will rear it ugly head at you again. Facing it will in time become better to deal with it. Have you tried journaling about your fears and issues? It's is a good place to start. Seeing it on paper stairing you in tha face it will make sense and will be better to deal with your issues. Try it you really have nothing to loos. Again welcome.

Scott is right. Journaling helps so much. I was in your shoes 6 months ago and was also severely depressed and felt the need to cut myself. Since then I have actually felt a change, almost like my mind has shifted and I have let some of those feelings go. Getting the thoughts out of your head and onto paper where you can analyze them is a very great start.

Hang in there because there is hope!
