MDJunction to me

saralaurie"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

Hiya, Its been awile since I have been here with any regularity. Truth is, I haven't been well enough to sit at the computer. Even though its a laptop, its too heavy for my legs. So, one day a thought just popped up in my brain. "How bout a keyboard with a UBS connection?" So, I talked with my best friend who is also really good with computer stuff. She said it should work. So, went shopping on Amazon and TaDa! Now I have my laptop on a tray table and the lightweight keyboard on my lap. Ha, look at me, I'm typing. Tongue

I hope to be around more now. I still struggle to get the most basic tasks done. I am spending most of my enery on cooking. I can't cook every night. One to two nights a week but, I make enough for two meals. There isn't much I'm able to do so, its really good for me. Not to mention it is good all of us health wise.

Its Sunday, that means we order food for delivery today. Since I don't have to cook, I need to do the dishes that have been sitting around for the past few days. So, I'm off to sit on my stool at the sink. I also use my little DVD player and watch a movie while I work. What shall it be toady? hmmmmm.........

Have a great day everybody!

Love, Light and Laughter

Hi Shelly, Glad you found a solution to the computer problem so you can be with us more. As you know there are several of us from the fms group so we understand the trials you face from day to day. That doesn't mean that other don't understand. My wife and I along with our children take turns with cooking and the cleaning. The kids pick up the slack when my wife and I are just to weak. And no child labor laws are broken, they are 20 and 24. Anyway welcome back and a gentle hug from the big guy, john.
The big guy, John.

I keep my keyboard on my lap just like you do, its wireless and it is such a blessing, the mouse is wireless too, I love not having a hot lap top, and this way we could have a Mac with a big screen so these blind old eyes can see....Shelley it is so good to have you back. You upbeat personality and smiling face and love of life was missed.

I am an RN with a current license since 1984....sheesh that's a long time....but that doesn't mean I am a DOCTOR
I dispense advice freely but you should take it with a grain of salt and do your homework and check with your doctor.
He gets paid more so he must know more. Right?

I am truly sorry your are reading my post, because it means you are here at MD Junction instead of out skydiving or deep sea treasure hunting or climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.......
