It's not really a tape but works just as well. I'm always saving images that I like from the internet. I make different files, - calming/soothing, uplifting, seasons, holidays, etc. I use these files for my screensavers. Something I like to do is let the screensaver run while I'm listening to music. It helps when I am experiencing anxiety, pain, depression, whatever. And because I've chosen the images for the files and am using my own music, it is very individualized. If you find images of the ocean soothing, save them to one file, set it as your screensaver, play your music and let your mind wander. (I have Israel Kamakawieo'ole's "Facing Future" album on my computer. For me, it would go well with the ocean pictures to help relieve depression.)

I'm sure a lot of you do this already and may have even posted it somewhere, but I thought for others, especially those on tight budgets, it is a great way to have a "collection" that helps relieve your symptoms. I also find making the files to be creative and fun, another relaxing bonus.

Yup. Right now I'm letting go to the sound of Israel Kamakawieo'ole's "Facing Future" album. Some of the songs are in Hawaiian and I don't understand the words, but the music is great. I think, after this, I'll listen to some Carla Bruni even though I've forgotten my High School French.

Excellent idea- to make a relaxation tape or scrapbook of relaxing images. Collecting all relaxing images whether be on your pc or in a scrapbook or both is a most excellent idea! Listening to relaxing sounds or music is also a cool idea.

Thanks SAT!

Warmest wishes, love your friend ClaritaSmilexooxooxoox
