MDJunction to me

neshama48"Having Crohn's Disease for over 26 years, in the first few years, it lonely and isolating.
Though now my disease is in a near perfect remission, my friends and family are sympathetic to me, but I can not talk to them about this disease. When I stumbled across MD Junction, and met others who had the same disease I was not alone in battling the disease. MD Junction is like a second family, without the judgement or guilt of having Crohn's Disease, but they do give you love and support.

I know how you feel, a few years back they put me on a course of injections to start a 'false menopause' to help with my PCOS & Endometriosis. I had all my usual symptoms as well as everyone of the menopausal symptoms. The hot flashes were horrendous!! I made sure i always had a can of Magicool & one of those little battery operated fans in my bag Laughing

I have heard that some people with PCOS say that they get hot flashes, although drs dont seem to agree. It is a symptom of alot of meds though. What do you take?

"When things go wrong and they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but dont you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
Its when things go wrong when you mustn't quit"
