Polycystic Kidney Disease Support Group

Hello! I am new to the support group, I cant get into my doctors office right away. I am having pain from my kidneys and it gets so bad at times it hurts to breathe/ i cant sleep.. and so on.. I'm only 19 and I cant figure out what this disease is, so I would appriciate all the help and advise i can get!!Thank you!

Hello Alexandria10. Hard to say what exactly you are experiencing but, either you have a cyst that has ruptured or a kidney stone. If the pain is that severe you need to get to a doctor ASAP. Your body is telling you something and you need to listen! It would also be a good idea to find a local doctor who treats many patients with PKD as some surprisingly don't quite "get it".
