I am not sure this is the right place to ask, as I had my surgery to remove a pituitary tumor way way back in 1992! The only problem I have had as a result of the surgery or tumor, is a slightly elevated prolactin level since.. Only ranging up to about 40 even when not pregnant... I have been able to have children. Only recently (I say this, as it started in 2008) did I start having this odd crunching sound in my head when I would turn my eyes. It happened once for a few months in 2008 then nothing for a long time. Currently I am experiencing my 3rd period of this symptom. I had an mri last year (but hadn't had once since '95) and the results were that spinal fluid was leaking or had leaked into my sella turcica and had flattened my pituitary, but I am thinking this build up might be causing my odd crunching sound, since those optic nerves are there... I wondered if anyone else had issues like these after transspehnoidal hyposectomy?
