Hi Herro:

Oh yeah It does make sense that something is displacing it. Especially when it wasn't three years ago. The optic chaism area looked okay on this scan. I read about this a little and it seems like a lot of people don't find the adenoma etc until surgery. Did yours show on the first MRI? Sue

Hi sue, yeah, mine showed up on 1st mri. my ob/gyn sat me down to discuss test results. i was really shocked and confused-like ohmygod!!i have a tumor! what is a pituitary gland? that was back in 2002 i think, i have learned alot since then. some basic anatomy was helpful. will write more later...kim
