Why wear a ribbon?

"I wear the Lime Ribbon for my daughter who had Lyme Disease." (dawn21)

MDJunction to me

liamacker"The part of my recovery plan that I would say made up 80% is MDJ. I suffered a lot prior to finding MDJ, felt alone and had no one to talk to who really understood me. In the Bipolar Group I found like minded individuals who I could relate to and who offered support to me when I needed it. As I recovered, I could then offer support to them which gave me a good feeling about myself. I have met some great people here who I would class as good friends and know I would still be in the slump I was in without them. Now I am stable, I know that MDJ plays an important part in keeping me that way. Thank you MDJ for being there for us all and making us no longer feel alone." (liamacker)

I would like to post some rules for posting, topics and everything in general for this group, so that everything flows smoothly

PILONIDAL CYST GROUP RULES:

1) Please no arguing! Please keep others feelings in mind when posting. If someone says something that you find offensive, PLEASE CONTACT ME. Noone is to attack another member in any way.

Be considerate to other members feelings. Think before you type, What you may not bother you could very well bother and offend someone else. And although it's easy to say, "Look the other way" potentially offensive posts shouldn't be posted

2) NO discussions of religion

Please, If you absolutely need to, please use a messenger of some sort. This subject can cause alot of disagreements and cause arguements Most of the members in our group use it. Or, if you're sure that it's okay, you may discuss the topic in a PM to the person you wish to talk to.

'God Bless You' at the end of your posts is okay. It' okay to ask for people to pray for you. We're not saying that God isn't welcomed here. You all know the difference between just being a religious person vs. slamming it into someone.

3) No discussion of politics.

discussions of politics can also create big fights and cause disagreements. If it has to be discussed, please use some other means to discuss it.

4)plain and simple NO SPAM!

Absolutely NO personal advertising. There is a big line between trying a product and sharing your experiences and using the forums to sell a product that most likely isn't even related to the group.

If you're sharing a talent for something that you can do or just wanted to tell everyone of something that brings extra relief for you to a lancing or a surgery , that is totally different. If you have any questions about a product or something you would like to post, contact a pilonidal cyst group leader.

5) We really need to stay on topic. If you find that someone is off topic- you can help out the leader(s) with that, by simply making another post that's about the topic. That can help the forum and post get back on track.

It boils down to that as a leader, I just simply request that you're in this group for all the right reasons. We should all be here to share our experiences, ask questions, help, care, and provide support to one another.

Thanks a bunch for taking the time to read. Thanks for your help and remember if you have questions of any kind, or simply want to drop a lin, feel free to send me a message

My advice doesn't replace the consultation of a doctor :)
I base my advice and suggestions based on my own personal experiences and knowledge.

*you can't quit until you try*
