Hi Debbie: Please, please keep holding on. I personally believe that Social Security Disability puts everyone through continued paperwork and through the waiting game, and through denials hoping all the disabled will just go away and without money we may become homeless and without insurance we can't afford care so our ailments will escalate and some of us may die. You let yourself get down and cry a bit because it get to everyone waiting for SSD approval, but then put your head up, put your shoulders back and you tell yourself that you're going to be tough and stay in this until they approve you. Make sure you are updating all your medicals, tests and prescriptions to SSA and that you have the doctors filling out new RFCs if they haven't already--because after a year you probably want the new RFCs in your file. And everything you send to SSA, make a copy of it to keep in your own personal file. Don't give up.
