MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

I feel so alone and I'm so depressed and I just want to give up and I need someone to talk to and there really are so few people left. I'm sorry. I'm just hurting so much right now.

Hello FraidyKat

I'm sorry your depressed and please don't give up.

I've been down that road myself plenty of times myself.

You can talk all you want to me.

I know how low one can feel.

Hi there Kat. You are in an elite group of people who are disabled. They are a group of people who I have found to be the most wonderful, most understanding and truly courageous I have met. We all suffer from either visible or invisible disabilities (and sometimes both), but yet we continue on and I give a lot of credit to disabled people.

You are not alone and we are here. We are here to talk, to give strength, and to reach out a hand to help you up if you have fallen. Depression can be a part of being disabled but we are all friends here and can help.

My two service animal cats think I should transform my electric scooter into a fully armed military vehicle to solely deal with the non-disabled who treat us poorly. ("Civilian, back away from the disabled person as they have the right to park in the disabled spots--if you don't back away by the count of 5, the cat in the military uniform will launch litter box cookies at you--all disabled put your gas masks on NOW"---see, litter box cookies are my one cat's droppings in the litter box and they threaten to CATapult them at people who are disrespectful) I can imagine my female cat wearing a helmet and riding in my scooter basket with a military jacket on.

Hey Kat,

Don't be sorry for asking for help. We are all here to help each other and bolster each other. I can relate to feeling alone and depressed. I've suffered with depression and anxiety since I was a teen. If you would like to talk, you can pm me.

hugs,

Shelley
