It can happen to a non-disabled man. But a disabled man can feel self doubt due to his disabilities and then fall prey to "small-penis syndrome." The male will see himself as too small when he is not. A male disability group in a major city near me spends a great deal of time discussing sexual issues pertaining to men because it has impacted those males so greatly and the way they think of themselves. The article below doesn't deal with disability, but this issue does.

Ok, hopefully my hubby doesn't read this because he suffers from this syndrome and thankfully would never seek out pills or surgery for it (he does not have "micro"; and I think we fit together quite perfectly)! But I for one can say he has satistified me much more than any man ever has! When are men going to figure out if they learn how to use it properly and treat us properly that it'll all work out!

We've been together for more than 11 years and married almost 8; anyone who says married sex is dull has never been in a good marriage (sex just keeps getting better over the years...)! We have two kids; I suffer from chronic pain; he's constantly stressed out and I undergo cancer treatments every 3 weeks!

People need to stop watching porn and reading "image forming" magazines and just accept themselves for who they are!

Hi Jessi: The article stated it was from anxiety. Apparently the mind tricks those men into thinking they are too small.

But I realize there is the body dysmorphic disorder where the mind tricks beautiful people into thinking they are horribly disfigured and ugly and then there is anorexia too and those people stand in a mirror all skin and bones and swear they are too fat. It is as if there is one part of the brain that can make our view of ourselves dysmorphic--malformed in some way to us, whether too small, too fat, etc.
