I just thought, if there are any of us interested in gardening, we cld post here. I'm sure it'll give pleasure to anyone who looks at our flowers.

To begin, I'm posting 2 pics of geraniums growing in my garden. They are hard to grow here, I have to take very good care of them. So, I'm proud of my geraniums - any one grows 'em??

Oh! Priyeni Geraniums are my favorite flower! I grow them in pots on the porches in the summer and then bring them in the house during the winter and keep them going until it's time to put them outside again. It's too dark here now to take a picture but when the sun comes up I'll post them.

Last year Robert planted tomatoes in the yard. Robert didn't tend to his garden but the squirrels did and they enjoyed the fruit of his labor and would clean out the garden on a regular basis. This year I bought Robert this special planter we could put on our back screened in porch and he could grew a few plants and also keep them safe from the squirrels. The plants are not doing well, I think they just are not getting enough sunlight!

Thnx for that JJ, the pics of the 2 verandahs give us a good idea. I got so excited when I saw yr geraniums - they look exactly like one of my pots in my front verandah!

Are those t'mato in the yellow box? I grow t'matoes too but we cant exchange tips cos I dont have seasons. we just put out seed in a nursery & when plants are about 6" high, transplant. If it bears during monsoon rains, the t'toes taste watery - that's the only difference. we are lucky, we can grow plants any time we want.

How nice, I hope there'll be lots of pics in our little garden Smile much nicer than looking at a magazine, makes it more personal.

This was a wonderful idea, Priyeni! I love looking at everyone's flowers and plants.

I love geranuims too and have a red one on my front porch that is getting more like a bonsai tree it's so big now. It just finished a blooming session. Do yours stop blooming at times? (anyone?) I put it in the enclosed porch in winter and just make sure it has enough water to survive. It sits by a south window there.

I recently got my very first digital camera and am trying to learn how to use it. Hopefully I will also learn how to put the pictures on here too. Tongue I still can't get graphics to work.lol

Jane, your hubby's tomato plants do look like they need more light. They get tall and spindly like that seeking sunlight. May as well plant them outside next time, and hope for the best. That or get a shop light to hang over them 12 hours a day and very close to the plants as they grow. Then set them out when they are just starting to get blossoms. Only the deer bother ours!

Shoot for the moon...if you miss it, reach out and grab a star.
